Welcome to The Fur Seasons. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all services provided by The Fur Seasons, including but not limited to mobile dog grooming, daycare, dog walking, training, pet sitting, and transport.
1. General Liability
While we take every possible precaution to ensure your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being, The Fur Seasons is not liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage resulting from our services. Use of our services is at the owner’s risk.
2. Health & Vaccination
Clients must ensure dogs are fully up to date with vaccinations, flea/tick treatment, and worming. Proof may be required.
We reserve the right to refuse service to any animal showing signs of illness or aggression.
3. Behavioural Issues
We must be made aware of any known behavioural issues in advance. The Fur Seasons is not responsible for injuries caused by your dog to itself, to other animals, to staff, or to property.
4. Grooming Risks
Grooming tools and equipment carry inherent risks. If your pet has a matted coat, skin issues, or any condition that could lead to irritation or injury, you agree that grooming will proceed at your own risk. We reserve the right to shave matted areas for safety. We are not responsible for post-groom irritation, sensitivity, or uneven coat growth.
5. Cancellations & No-Shows
We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Cancellations under 24 hours or no-shows may be charged at full price. Deposits for grooming or daycare may be non-refundable if appointments are missed or cancelled without notice.
6. Emergencies
In the event of an emergency, you authorise The Fur Seasons to seek veterinary care at your expense. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you first. You agree to reimburse all medical costs incurred.
7. Weather & Conditions
We may adjust services (especially walks or mobile grooming) due to extreme weather or safety concerns. If conditions make it unsafe or unreasonable to complete a service, we reserve the right to reschedule or modify as needed.
8. Pet Sitting
All pet sitting is conducted by vetted and insured individuals. However, The Fur Seasons does not accept responsibility for damages, theft, or any incidents occurring within your property. Clients must inform sitters of all home security systems, pet routines, and access instructions.
9. Payments & Refunds
All services must be paid for in advance unless agreed otherwise. We reserve the right to cancel future bookings for non-payment. Refunds are at our discretion and may not be issued for missed or unused services.
10. Media & Promotion
You agree that we may take photos or videos of your dog during our services and may use these for marketing, social media, or promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Fur Seasons and its staff shall not be held responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Clients accept full responsibility for their pets and agree not to hold The Fur Seasons liable for any costs, damages, or legal claims.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services or website implies acceptance of any changes.
